• Spectators are welcome to observe at no charge.
• USCF membership is NOT required for the Simul.

• 12PM - 1PM Lunch Break - Food Truck with vegetarian options available for onsite lunch purchase.
• Lunch lecture by GM Joel Benjamin
• 5:30PM Awards Ceremony
• Four Sections: Open; Under 1800; Under 1200; and Unrated.
• Rating: A player's official USCF Regular Rating will be used for pairing and prize purposes.
• No USCF rating? You may enter the Unrated Section or choose to play in a higher Section. All players earn an official USCF rating after this event.

Registration and Prizes

• Grandmaster Simultaneous Exhibition - $25
• Entry Fees for Each Tournament (Saturday or Sunday):
  • Open or Under 1800: $40
  • Under 1200 or Unrated: $20
  • Sign up early! All fees $10 more after April 4 2026.
  • Free tournament entry for GMs, IMs, WGMs, and WIMs.
  • Registration closes at 9PM on the previous evening. No exceptions!
  • USCF membership required for Saturday and Sunday. Become a USCF member here.
• Prizes for 1st to 5th place in every Section:
  • Master/Expert 2000+ - 1st $500 / 2nd $300 / 3rd $200 / 4th $150 / 5th $100
  • 1500-1999 Section - 1st $300 / 2nd $175 / 3rd $125 / 4th $100 / 5th $75
  • 1000-1499 Section - 1st $175 / 2nd $125 / 3rd $100 / 4th $75 / 5th $60
  • Under 1000 Section - Trophies to 1st - 5th
  • Unrated Section - Trophies to 1st through 5th 
  • Elementary Section - K-6 only and Under 800 or Unrated - trophies
• One half-point bye may be requested before the first round.
• Please bring a chess tournament clock if you have one.
• Stay next door at the UC Davis Hyatt Place with a group rate. Book by: April 5, 2026.
